Happ controls sell black pica vinyl that is a really close match to the textured black vinyl used on some Atari cabs.

Certain areas of an Atari cab - such as the inside of the back door or surrounding the light fitting, use a white textured vinyl.

I've stumbled across a really close match to the textured white vinyl - it's called Bella Satin White sold by a company called happy doors in the uk linky

It comes 1 sheets 60cm wide x 100 cm length - which is all I need, (but perhaps they will sell it in longer sheets).

It's designed to cover kitchen doors, so the long term adhesive and quality should be good.

Attached is a photo showing the original vinyl, the happ black pica painted white (using vinyl paint) and the Bella Satin White.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner....

Looks pretty damn spot on, pal. You can refurb your cab and kitchen all at the same time!

They don't sell black vinyl?
Atari PCB's (and most non-Atari), AR2's, Vector Deflection/HV boards repaired & refurbished.

You can have any colour you want, so long as it's not black.

I am actually considering recovering all of my kitchen and cabs in Canadian maple, hoping that sheisjimmi wont notice all of the cabs in the kitchen.

Sometimes I am genuinely stunned by my own brilliance.
