Always looking for music with awesome bass like Kiesza - Hideaway, looking at youtube comments on tunes with insane low bass and there is never a single comment about it, something wrong with today's youngsters

After listening to the end song on Max Payne 2 I bought the first Poets Of The Fall Album which is really good, still need to check out the other albums as they have done loads now

was watching video on testing some $55,000 B&W speakers and they mention playing Sohn - Tremors so thought I'd check it out on youtube on my speakers

Most recent band I got in to is a small band called Master Boot Record. Its a mix of metal and synth - they play old game music from Doom, Duke Nukem, Red Alert 2 and others as well as their own stuff. The live shows look amazing, CRTs, 486 computers and backing video from old games or scene group animations. Probably fits a lot of interests from others on here! They were in Glasgow last year but I wasn't able to make it, hope they come again though -

@HDemon give King Buffalo and Elder a go. A little more prog but both are incredibly talented bands.

Seen both of them numerous times very early on in their career and they've gone from strength to strength.

Elder ar heavier, later stuff is a lot more progressive...

Edit...

After having listened to a couple of snippets of the other stuff posted, I have to mention Tess Parks too, have been a huge fan of hers for years, not for everyone but I can never get enough of her stuff.

Edit 2...

If you like some relaxing spacey electronic music too, pretty much anything by Carbon Based Lifeforms is golden. Now I will stop 🤣 Could go on all day.

Just noticed something while sorting Now CD's 2 of the biggest stars Michael Jackson and Madonna ain't on em

I was asking my mate other day if he remembers Ministry, not sure if I remember em from the 80's but I have this Singles CD which I'm guessing came from the tip or poss from Charity shop as I pickup anything old that's not common

@Bods pretty sure they've recently reissued this I was looking at it a few months back but bottled it when I saw how much it was to ship. Loved the slower stuff they did Filthpig and Dark Side of the Spoon era.

I'll see if I can dig out the reissue link, definitely seen it recently.

Edit - Yeah, it's a wax trax era one - https://cleorecs.com/products/minis...t46SMq4IF0pfZVjgS1V8ZTMVqiyPQ3Jj4V9ULQyJcUfOS

Mate doesn't remember them, need to listen to some of there other stuff as that's a nice box set

I liked Re-Flex - Politics Of Dancing but hadn't heard any other ones that I recall, they did a box set of 6 albums I think but not cheap on ebay, managed to get one at reasonable price but not too keen on most of the stuff, personally I find that with quite a few albums, only odd ones I liked

If you like the later heavier, more guitar oriented stuff, there is one of those cardboard sleeve sets of the main set of albums you can pickup for usually under a tenner 👍

I only have that Singles CD but quite like it, I'll have to listen to more of there stuff and check that set out then, cheers :)

This is something I've never listened too, I watched a YouTube video of guy playing some music on the cool Technics speakers he was selling, it sounded good on the video so I looked for the music, it's Chinese and sounds amazing, bass is awesome and lovely sounds also, even sounds good on my small Technics speakers like Enigma does, been on a site from another guy testing speakers out and reviewing them, he played some Chinese music too Tong Li - Red Winding Sheet and reminded me of this one

You want bass?...

Ah you got my hopes up, I was thinking some really heavy bass will come in at some point, Sounds great but sadly not enough Bass on that one

Going through the 100's of CD Singles saved from landfill, another i haven't really played but is quite decent with some heavy bass coming in a few times, some good remixes too like Fly Past Edit and Wally Lopez Vocal Edit and nice video :). Dark Globe Feat. Amanda Ghost - Break My World
