What's the story with this one I used to hear tracks like this going to Butlin's in those ball rooms they had. It's somehow nostalgic and I'm not even sure I remember this exact track but I'm sure I must have heard it before. Love it though.

I always loved Hang On, Dragons Lair, Robocop and Street Fighter 2's attract modes. Sounds of youth.

Great intro (before and after you coin-up).

I can't be done with singing in games (including you, Daytona 😐), but the first Turtles was very impressive at the time, as was The Simpsons.

What was a bit rubbish was the version of Gradius 3 we got over here.
The Japanese version had images of the previous games in the series plus the year, but they took all that out the world version for some odd reason, so it just sat there with '1989' and a still image of the game, which looked a bit stupid.

No nostalgia as I obviously never saw it at the time, but two very stylish intros to Vertexer (still undumped) - the one at 1min 30 is the best.

The Aliens attract mode is awesome on every level - The grainy stills, Dirty and menacing electronic sounds plus the level 1 /2 gameplay demo. I remember seeing the level 2 Driving stage and deciding to forgo a stick of rock from the gift shop at Granada studios Tour (1990) and pour 50p into this game instead.

A classic.

Played quite a bit at Winthorpe, would quite like one of these if I can find it.

This was a late one but in the early 00s looking for any remaining life of the older games I used to hear the sound of this game and now it's quite nostalgic

This was in a cab office at the end of my local high street. Only ever had a couple of goes, couldn't figure out what to do but i always liked the attract mode.

To me its Iconic with that backdrop, the moving clouds, big charactors and sound

Taito were pretty good at Attract modes too

Continental I can never seem to find one used when the title screen comes up after a while and when the cars come past you have the sound of them, it's especially good when you have 4 channel sound on it as you get the car sounds flying past from back to front speakers
