Memorable Arcade Attract Modes.

I forgot one. Mad Harry's in the centre of Bristol had a deluxe Manx TT Superbike cab. The volume was always maxed out, and the owners decided to place it adjacent to my favourite - Time Crisis. Often the shouts of 'ACTION or RELOAD' were drowned out by an explosive 'WELCOME TO THE EXCITING WORLD OF TT RACING!!'

I remeber being on hols and seeing delux moto raid
3D graphics .. akira style bike fights .. and the bikes themselves Just wowed ..
I was overwhelmed because trying to play it whilst admiring it soo much at the same time was difficult ..
I was happy just to watch others play .. or the attract mode with instructions
Forget wipeout .. this was close combat with tron style hand to hand weapons . In a dystopian future .. it had it all!

Really remember some of the Shoot em ups sitting next to a Bad Dudes, Double Dragon, Robocop, Shinobi etc. Golden times

I remember walking into our favourite Video Shop at school lunch time and they had these 3 running at the same time.

I remember playing it in an arcade in Goodge Street when I was at university in London
I even bought another PS1 to just watch it occasionally because my other one had a dodgy stuttering optical drive 🤘😍

Remember seeing CVG giving it a 7/10 or 6/10 rating and thinking that was a bit mean!
Yeah if we broaden this to consoles then for me PSX Ridge Racer 4 is probably my all time favourite and SFC Mario Kart is close behind for all its simplistic silliness. SFC, PCE and Neo Geo are my three must have systems but PSX had some gems too.

Altered Beast has a good Attract Mode. First time i saw it was a school trip to Chessington world of adventures. It had the most attention as it had just been released.
I was going to post that, but it was PS1 exclusive! Still one of the best intros ever though!
