Cheers for all those dude, nice to see how things change over the years. Well, not nice but you know what I mean.
Funny to finish the last of the arcade vids with 'hadoken' and then an atari cab being loaded in to a van.

There goes the championship sprint on its way to Bensonrads house.... I guess 1994 was about Sega Rally era, probably the last game that looked/played significantly better than its home rivals.

Great videos these. Loved the lone Goliath in the last one, standing proudly against the relentless march of time - or something like that. Now if only someone can find some arcade porn from one of the big motorway service stations, or a sea-side mecca like Blackpool, Scarborough or Torquay.

I used to love going to the fair to play the arcades. They always had the best games there too

Brilliant stuff!!

I still remember the bounce in my step from the makeshift floor as you walked into the arcade at the fair. Love it!

Looking at the latest video of the fair I see no arcade machines at all apart from pushers and redemption type machines Cry

It must have made them loads of money.  They were always full of people so it surprises me that they didn't continue with it

Loved watching these. Took me back to my old town fairs around the same times. By the early 90's I'd moved to uni in the big city and the travelling fairs no longer were a part of my life, so I guess I never saw their decline. I was already visiting larger permanent arcade venues at that point, stuffed with newer massive dedicated cabs and it wasn't long before places like the Troc had opened.
Seeing a travelling fair in 1995 was definitely a bit of wtf moment really. As others had said by this point it was all PlayStation, 3D, Ridge Racer and WipeOut.

I used to love the travelling fair when it turned up every year in the early 90's.  The games were old, even back then.  I remember an Astron Belt kept coming back, respect to whoever kept that thing going for so long in those conditions.
