I've got a NOS Final Blow pcb complete in its rather nice Taito box and was just wondering what it may be worth out of interest?

I stored it away years ago and have only just found it.

Some crazy comments here. This is a real collectors piece, probably best suited to the Japanese collectors market I would think for maximum return.
Fantastic to see, thanks for sharing.

Incidentally, there are some new remakes of taito/taitronics games on modern consoles which are really nicely presented in mock up taito cardboard pcb boxes.

I wouldn’t say so, it just needs a crazy buyer for maximum cash.

It's an Taito F2 PCB which makes conversion to another game very difficult.

You could email a dedicated shop such as Beep or Mac Japan to see what they will offer.

Some collectors might consider it an overseas version (with the electrocoin artwork), making it slightly less desirable.

My valuation would be £300-£500.

Somebody mentioned they had not seen NOS pcb before, I once bought out Konami suppliers stock and had box's fullLOL

Thanks for the replys. I've got no real plans to sell it at the moment, I was more just interested to see what others thought of it and share the pics as I think it's pretty cool.

Assuming there's no serial markings - list the box, inserts and bubble wrap on eBay.

Keep the rest.

I suppose if I had to pick a game to keep in a box and never play, Final Blow would be up there with World Cup '90.

yeah lets be honest here, the box and other bits are the valuable stuff not the game , and I say that as someone who has some fond memories of playing this and liking it

It’s a collectors item. It’s the equivalent of buying a sealed cartridge game.

No one would pay more than a few quid for a Tetris on the gameboy. But sealed in a box would go for a fortune.

Same applies

This is not sealed and its not Tetris (which is good LOL) and I've never understood the logic of buying a sealed game for $$$ and then opening it !

No I’d say this is a lot more uncommon.

It’s not really about convincing everyone it’s worth it. You need 2 people in an auction to be convinced it’s worth it

So if you plug it in to test it, does it lose value?

This is one of those things that's an interesting conversation topic, but all we can ever do is speculate, unless folk are actually sat here ready to throw half a grand.

Here's the cart/conversion bits for £25:
????! - ???? ????????????? (yahoo.co.jp)
Not 'NOS' and missing the motherboard and the box, obviously, but it's otherwise an undesirable, cheap game.
