MS Pacman cab, not one that comes up often, sadly had multiboard and LCD put in.  Is the cab original artwork or stickered on this one? hard to tell.

Looking at the last picture of the scratches above the coin door, it looks like it's stickered

Yeah, there's dings in the stickers in places. Bit of an odd one this - something about it feels hinky. Has the same Pac-Man keyring I have for one of my cabs, though. Tongue

Why the crazy bids for a multi gameboard cab with LCD Screen

Artwork looks far to perfect to be of any age and all you find when looking for cab pics is new artwork

Side Art don't even go to the edge of cab

Control panel artwork don't align with Monitor Glass artwork

2 extra buttons for on control panel

Deffo REPRO artwork as there isn't copyright midway writing on any of the artwork

Wrong Coin door

YES this is just a repro cab with black vinyl under the artwork or another game converted but I would say repro

This is more what a machine of that age would look like and they don't have stuck on artwork either

If you want compare to original cab then look at this one, good job there are some genuine cabs about

midway did a rerun of the ms pacman cabinet with vinyl. Its just like the artwork you see on the pics.
yes it has an lcd. yes the coindoor is not the original one. But you can't say this is a repro cab. It might be but it still could be original. Ask him for the serial numbers.

You mean the Reunion one from Namco

End of the day this isn't an original machine, it's just repro rubbish which poor people get suckered into buying because they don't know

No, he is saying not all Ms PAC cabs were stencilled. Later production ones were wrapped in vinyl from factory.

Could be a late run original then, I guess. Some pics of inside would help.

I think it is too hard to know without looking inside.

The vinyl does look quite new, but that doesn't mean it is.

Interesting info with the new one in the link but looks nothing like it and lets face it, you would probably win the lotto before finding one of those versions in the UK

It's probably one of the most faked copied cabs out there looking at the amount of them on the web searches while looking for an original

You can't buy machines these days without seeing pics of the inside, like that Space Invaders that did the rounds after being bought blind and having PC inside

I can't see this ever have been running original boards, putting that in the listing is trying to con people into thinking it was once an original cab, if that was case you would show pics of it inside

Look at this, Restored Ms Pac-Man and they sold 4, my god Confused

I asked the seller, he is not too sure, he is going to take some photos of the insides and post them up on the listing.

Will Certainly be interesting to see Smile

If it's not a repro cab then the only option I can see is it was a Midway Galaga, if it was one of those converted to this now it would be a real shame

Some more points

Marquee Brackets, the lower should angle back toward the marquee, it don't as they are just flat and twice the height it should be

The speaker should be behind the Marquee not showing underneath with a speaker grill on outside like that

It's a "cut and shut" - old and new bolted together - looks good overall though.

It will be very difficult to determine what it is actually worth though...
