Slowly, but surely, my Ps4 is turning in to a neo geo loved console.

With hamster ports, and specific Ps4 releases with net play...every time I get something neo...I just can't believe how much beauty there is. Unbelievable.
Just wow.

Anyway..should my Ps4 die...is it simple enough to download the games on a new Ps4.

I remember it being somewhat as a fracas years ago...but...I'm sure things have longed moved on.

It's my only modern console, I'm really out the loop for modern technology, not matter how simple.

Thank you.

The ps4 is ok i think i have metal slug
And art of fighting
I have found this generation of consoles to be dissapointing in general
Too many hd remakes of old games

I bought my ps4 for fallout 4 and found it dull
Give me new vegas or 3 anytime

My most played ps4 games are yacuza zero and mortal combat x

I personally dont think the old neo geo games look right on big lcd tvs so the neo games we paid for havent had much play
But if you are happy with your setup thats cool :)

Ps5 is due to be announced next year
According to a podcast i was listening to today
Will proberbly be on sale next october
I honstly dont think i will buy one

Thank you for reply.

They all have video options Inc scanlines..
They look really good on a modern set tbh.

Probably not as good as a monitor/CRT...but decent enough.

Some of the Snk games, you can play in practise or arcade until an online player matches you.

I've played kof97 all day, had tons of fun online and arcade.

It's a nice option to have :)

I also have a big folder full of Neo Geo games, both from Hamster and most of the PS2 classics.

Its a great way to play the Neo on he big screen ( which i love )

I also have an Arcade folder with Bubble Bobble, Gradius, Pac-Man etc.

I missed out on ps3 games as was on Xbox360 so the Playstation HD remasters were new to me this time round.

Over all love the PS4 console, put more hours in per game than last gen, games are getting soooo big.

Add me if you fancy a high score challange on any Neo/Arcade game ( i can only try )

PSN:- ZuPoint

If your PS4 dies, you just log into your PSN account on the new one, and you can download all your purchases again.

It's an awesome collection! Just booted it up, straight PS2 port, but you can add borders and scanlines to make it look better. Twinkle Star and Ninja Commando play particularly well, Ninja Commando in particular is way underrated.
