Hi everyone just working my way through a vast amount of Space Invaders Boardsets I have accumulated over the years and trying to find something that will do the Ram Test like on the L-Shape Boards.
Or anyone know if there is a self test that can be triggered.
The thing is it's a ball-ache of a task but I want to know if any of the Roms in any of the Board sets are worth keeping as there are so many different versions.
I have a braze kit fitted to one of my colour TTs and Im using that but I would prefer to know that the signal from the roms is getting to there, and as you probably know the braze kit sort of cheats a bit, not that I'm complaining all my machines have Braze in but it would be nice to get some of these other game Roms functioning in more machines like SPINV III AND SPINV IV
Something like the Test Rom in the L-Shape would be great.
I've tried that but all I get is the lines and nothing else on some boards, so I'm assuming the Ram is good on them as they all function correctly with the Braze in.
The Ram test Rom is a 2716,I have a couple, but neither will run past the parallel lines and move on to testing the rest of the boards sounds etc.
Maybe I've missed the obvious please help.
