A year in video clips

Yes, this topic is over 2 years late.....I'm lazy.

You may have seen this "over the road" so this is for the people who no longer frequent there I love it so much I wanna share)...

Back in 2012 I saw someone had done a whole year of their life in video snippets. I decided to do the same, so, starting a bit late (Feb 23rd) I started.

This is my 2012, and a bit of 2013, in video clips.

Thought some of you might enjoy. It certainly brings a smile to my face

That was really good! Thanks for sharing, must have taken an age to put all that together into a single video clip!

I spotted Gyruss, Puzzle Bobble, a Streetfighter type of game and Super Mario Galaxy to name but a few.

What was the song/band in the first half of the clip?

Glad you enjoyed it.

Took about 4 solid evenings and a full day yesterday (Saturday) to put it all together into a single clip. Took way longer to decide on a video editor to do it in and even longer to get off my ass and do it

What was the song/band in the first half of the clip?

It's a "Foo Fighters" track, "These Days" from the album "Wasting Light". I thought it summed up the content nicely.

That's nearly all of them now!

This will be an awesome thing to show to your kids in a few years time, to show them a year of their lives in 9 minutes.

Very interesting idea. Like cmonkey has said, it will be good to look back on and remind yourself what you did on a particular day.

I also thought it must have taken you ages to do that, and having to go through tons of footage

That's nearly all of them now!

You're doing well, especially getting Skyrim as that's a pretty obscure one with mo text. It's not a Street Fighter game (someone else will surely get it!!), it's not Bubble Bobble (but you are so close I'll give it ya).

There are 3 more. One is quite well hidden unless you are REALLY paying attention!
