So, video streaming (X Files!) on the PC in my games room is choppy - FPS is too low, so movement looks jerky. I'm just trying to identifty the issue.
True, I do have a pretty crap broadband connection (around 3 megs), but videos seem to play fine on my main PC. I'm streaming just using Chrome browser, BTW.
I used to stream stuff OK using Kodi. The PC is only a core2duo with an old Radeon GFX card, I think, hooked up to the TV. I assume the Prime browser player needs more power? Do I need to upgrade the CPU or the GFX card, or both? I don't know if the browser player uses hardware acceleration, or not?
Anyone able to help?
Thanks.
