I have been clearing my dads place and found my Action Man Transport Command vehicle Jeep complete in its box.

If anyone’s interested let me know as it’s for sale.

Cheers

That TV ad with the camp Action Man figures is really annoying. Is nothing sacred!

I was lucky enough to live near the factory that made action man and star wars toys. My dad was a tv repair man and often we got given toys when he collected the TV rent from the workers.

On my recent return to my dad's loft to see where my action man stuff was, as I had already taken the star wars stuff for my kids.

I found about six action man all their heads were decapitated. I think the rubber must of broke over time as even i would not break six of them !!

My fave toy was the big tank and the helicopter, the jeep was fun too !

I had the eagle eyes action man which always freaked out my mum! I also had the astronaut stuff, jeeps, tanks, copters and my mum even made a bed for one! I loved my action man!

I was a huge Action Man fan as a kid. I supposed it helped having an older brother with a pretty good inventory of AM gear that I could then add to every Xmas and birthday

AM was a great toy - made at a time when it was politically correct for AM to fight Communists and Nazis!

The box art was amazing. A lot of love went into those amazing water colour paintings on the boxes. I guess it inspired the child's imagination on what could be possible with the contents.
You just don't see packaging like that anymore

I sold all my stuff off years ago - boxed and unboxed
However I do have an AM soldier box on display atop one of my cabs - just to bring back some of those 70's / 80's memories

There's alot of YT videos of collectors collections.
Truly awesome collections and it brings back great memories
