I chanced upon this warehouse story

http://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=1678

It looks like the kind of amzingly neglected stuff that turns up in the US quite a lot. I assume not much sits around long enough in the UK to get this bad before getting turned into a Tescos or 100 'exclusive apartments' -read boxy flat with moany neghbours and no parking :)

I suspect any that were there were hoovered up long ago. As you say any building not being activley used except to stash vidz in the UK would be demolished and made to make money long before we would get a look in. Rabbit hutch to live in anyone?

If there was anything like this in the UK any cabs that were exposed to the elements would be well f**ked in this country

I had a similar mini experience about 7 years ago.

I was asked to convert a cafe into a restaurant/takeaway, It was one that I frequented bitd and used to have 2 floors of machines, so I jumped at the chance. Started demolishing stuff and filling skips when I came across a cupboard that had been covered with plywood, pulled it all off and inside there was a couple of monitors, some CP's and pcbs and there standing in one corner was a familiar aluminium plate with the full Defender pcb set, straight in the car went the contents of that cupboard. Never had anything since though.

Andy.
