Problem Atari mains supply switch

Hi,

I'm trying to replace the mains wire to an Atari cab. The mains cable goes through a hole in the metal plate. Does the plastic thing that holds the wire in the hole come loose or do I need to cut it with a stanley knife?

you compress it with pliers and it pulls out, you can see an area on the right which is the latch of a sort - put pliers left to right in that photo, compress and manipulate out

It acts as a grommit. Squeeze and pull

There all pretty basic on wiring. Is just alot of colour chasing lol
