Broadcast Crt unit

Looking to setup my ikegami broadcast crt soon and im wondering what type of units everyone has them on as they obviously have to be strong .. sounds sad but the rooms got ikea black hemnes furniture thats quite plain so i want some sort of black unit that will fit in well nothing fancy and not too big

mine's 9" so sits on the desk

bit cheapo but b&m do small shelf or drawer units in a sort of 80's black ash effect. 12mm chipboard. they're just as strong as the cheaper ikea units - some of which i found are made partly of laminated cardboard (seriously)

This ones around 20" so is quite heavy .. yeah i had a cheap sidetable from ikea and its cardboard lol the furniture ive got from them is wood its quite strong tbh but dont fancy putting the crt on because i know it will bend the unit top then the draws probably wont open

They are beasts - got one of the 20" ones as well

Mine currently sits on something similar to this - didnt want to risk it on something flimsy!

Yeah something like that would be good does yours fit fully on that or overhang ?
