Anyone else getting inundated with these bloody things, lately? I'm stuck at home most days at the moment, caring for a relative and it's bloody annoying getting calls 2 or 3 times a day, sometimes! Don't suppose there's a way to stop them, is there?

..and never answer any Calls on my Mobile if I don't recognise the Number!!

sometimes it's fun to answer but dont say anything.. just wait.. listening.. and as soon as they say something -- hang up

They go around a lot, and change the story now and again, used to get loads of 'Microsoft' calls when I was in Huddersfield asking me to turn on my computer and input a command, I would just piss them around telling them I had a Commodore 64 and they would have to wait while the tape loads or how do I type this in on my NES etc.

I have been getting them from Talk Talk over the past couple of weeks, its an automated call that says press 1 to pay or 2 to have my internet cut off. I tried just going quiet but the call disconnects if I don't choose an option after a few seconds. I might press something next time and have a bit of fun stringing them along for a bit.

I had a BT one this morning (first time) saying my internet needs to be terminated as it's been comprised etc. He wanted me to hook up a laptop to my internet so I said I'm hardly going to do that, I'll phone BT myself. He then hung up.

I was busy today so didn't have time to have any fun. When the accident claims people phone I always make sure they put me through to their top guy and then come up with the most crazy accidents like I crashed into a Griffin but it didn't die, so it ripped the roof off my car and stole my wife so I need the insurance money immediately to pay for a search party or new wife. Loads of fun, just always make sure you waste as much of their time as poss.

That's the thing - I'm not with BT and never have been. When I tell the caller this, there's a short pause before they hang up.
