To many foreign traders selling tat....People asking full ebay money for stuff...Charity shops with Ebay stores, and valuers coming in and pricing up their tat. Charity shops used to be for people who couldn't afford to buy clothes new etc. Now just money money money.
I tryed doing a bootfair a few years ago
Never done one before
Took some good stuff along mostly kids toys ect some brand new electronic toys that were never opened
As soon as you have paid for your pitch at 6am and drive onto the field your car is surrounded by foreign people
like in any zombie horror film
As you open your boot they are all trying to grab at any think they can get hold of
Before it even reaches your table
I guess its all going on ebay or on there own stall to sell at a markup
As soon as they have bought all your good stuff they are attacking the next poor car booter that pulls up
So all the good items are gone as soon as traders arrive its why you never see any thing good at car boot sales
The rest of the day its the local dole
Crew trying to get things you have marked up for a fiver for 20p
Horrible experiance i would never do another one we just give the stuff away now
