all it does is bleaches nothing more

tried and tested by many no damage done

when people start mixing the formula with other stuff is when damage occurs or then they find some inks are unstable and text gets rubbed off

other wise on plastic it doesn't harm it at all

I thought I read somewhere that (certainly Retrobrite) did weaken the plastic at a molecular level. Makes it more brittle? Don't know for definite, - I'll have to google itMilky2016-05-09 14:47:41

the only other ingredients were the oxy-stuff and some Xanthar(?) gum paste or something. Was it the oxy that did the damage?

i'm not sure which ingredient it was or even if it was an outside source that did the damage

retrobyte was known to have once said that lemon or vinegar enhances and speeds up the process and those are very acidic liquids

a common cause for anything to brittle

so could be user error by taking on silly advice and doing that

I suppose we'll all find out in 10 years time when a urine coloured amiga is £1000 but a new looking one is 50 quid :p

It's a bit like pinball tables. Too much clear coat for my liking.
