Connecting controls to pc?

In my experience the ipac ones are of much better quality and even though they say ' No Delay ' there is IMO. The ipac one are fully programmable as well but its a long time since i wired mine up. I have one of the aliexpress ones somewhere I was going to do some testing on (A friend gave it to me he had 2 , he built himself a desk one. Well half built anyway ! lol) Oh yeh and they are only 4 button the Ali ones as well.
On a few of my first cabs I hacked keyboards and that worked ok also , But its a pain in the arse so buy one !

Ipac is ready set for mame as it emulates keyboard keys and cheap chinese usb board 2 player is joystick controller so you have to set it up for mame
not sure if any other cheap ones are keyboard type so I'd go with Ipac for mame specially in a cab, as you have hot keys like both start buttons to exit game etc

Both my cabs were Jamma enabled so just used a J-pac.
That does give the option of additional buttons, so I have a 2 player 6 button setup.
You will also need a small amp, and you do a few button combinations to exit etc.
I also put in an additional button in the camlock to bring up the slider for volume.
I'd personally go for a coinops build but I am biased !
