We don't really have a place for non arcade homebrew games by members, so I've made a topic that I'll maintain with links back to the topics in the Console and Retro Computing section.

I'll try and maintain this page. If a member has released some non arcade homebrew that I missed, make sure you create a topic then let me know and I'll add it.

As Chris has got his Excellent Vectrex game finished and nearly ready here's the first link

I have made a few games for Pico-8 'fantasy' console.

Cosmo Boing Deluxe:

Tie Hunt (very much inspired by arcade game Tunnel Hunt):

Tube Runner:

FYI: controls in the Pico-8 webplayer are cursor keys and Z/X

Hope to have a go at making a Vectrex game in the future...

Very nice Steve, good luck with the Vectrex stuff

Have you still got your vectrex cab?

Thanks! I'm not much of an assembler programming but have dabbled before. I'm currently easing my way back into it by playing around with the BBC Elite source code (I've added some parallel port outputs for warning lights, and a few other things).

I do still have my Vectrex cabinet. I've just got Vector Patrol so enjoying playing that at the moment

Hey, not for a console per se, but I'm writing this game for PC/Linux/Mac (and maybe android/ios once I've done the swipe controls)

It's a Qix type game... maybe would be fun on a mame cab? :)

It's still a WIP but it's getting there :) I can send a copy if anyone wants to try it, and if anyone has ideas to make it better/more fun let me know. Been really fun writing this!

Looks nice abd dig the sound i do like this type of game. Volfied on pc engine is my quick play game. Although a couple of the emulators give it a crap buzzing sound on the audio. I have to remember which one then to load it up on. Reminds me was going to see if was any other console.

Cheers. I did actually finish this btw.
Works on a 15khz monitor too with some fiddling, but I've got an arcade cab ready version coming soon thanks to something very cool in the works by another very clever vaccer.
that gamejolt site is one of the worst i have ever seen, nothing is loading at all, and when it does, only partially
