Problem CPS2 SFA2 Sprite loading issue

Hi
I have two copies of Street fighter alpha 2 game each with an infinikey installed beginning of last year ish to bypass the battery issue which were working fine until recently and both now have the exact same issue.

The game still boots up fine and is technically playable (in that all buttons work, you can progress the game state, audio is fine etc) however none of the sprites actually load so you can only see the backgrounds. Some googling around suggests it might be an issue with the DL-2027 chip but I have no tools to test this.

Secondly, one of the B boards seems to have broken volume controls (always min volume) and a noisy fan but no reason to investigate a fix for that if the bigger issue isn't solvable.

Any recommendations for places / people that'd be interested in being paid to debug this and working out if it's fixable?

I did measure the voltages on the lines just before new year after this happened and they all seemed fine - as a precaution I have since swapped to using a different PSU and supergun for other boards though just in case that was the issue as I didn't want other one stuff to break.

I was also concerned if any of the wires in the JAMMA harness had got shorted or something so checked that out and all seems good on that end too.

For a bit of context as well I think the reason the issue is in both boards is because after noticing the issue on the set I usually use (or the b board with the food audio) to try and narrow down if the a board or the b board was the problem I stupidly switched the a and b boards across each set assuming that's let me figure out which one was broke however I think that's what caused the second set to break.

So I dunno if that's my main b board has a fault that screwed up both a boards or the a board has a fault that screwed up both b boards.

Hadn't thought of that so popped both boards off the B boards this morning to take a look, seems good to me though

Solved! And writing this up in case someone else hits the same issue and finds this thread. Had some help from local tech clever guys and we managed to get to the bottom of this. In short the shout about it being bent pins were right, but it was the pins in the socket on the A board, specifically the pin on B30 of CN2 was bridged to ground, once that was sorted we got sprites back.

Cheers :)
