Custom shelving builds?

So I'm getting close to deciding to build an shelving system out of conduit and wooden boards, but have very little clue what I'm doing (...zero surprise eh!)

Contemplating doing something like this so I can reuse the parts, change heights etc long term?

Anyone done the same or something similar? Any lessons learnt etc?

Not even thought about where to start sourcing the parts, that's the first challenge.

I built a stand for all my consoles and screens from aluminium tubing like the pictures you posted. Easy to build with an allen key and they cut the tubes to size. Thick plywood for the weight it needed to hold, and cut very acurately to size at the timber yard. I am very pleased with the solution.
