Ebay reduced fee offers

Are you guys still getting reduced selling fee offers from ebay? I was getting them every couple of weeks like clockwork, and now not had one for about a month or so. Annoying as I've been waiting for one to list something for a couple of weeks now.

Yes, I literally just activated an 80% off one for this weekend.

I think if you activate the offer when you get one and then list something, you are guaranteed to get another one in 3 weeks time. That's the way it seems to have worked for me for the past few weeks anyway.

Maybe it's because I haven't used one in a while, then. I did get one that lasted for about 2 weeks or something, but didn't have anything to sell at the time. Cheers, Danny.

Every 2 or 3 weeks I get the 80% off selling fees sent through, it’s always on a Friday and lasts until the Monday for 100 listings.

Just remember you have to use the (sell similar) or create a brand new listing rather than clicking relist if something went unsold otherwise I believe the offer doesn’t apply to that listing. Also I believe it doesn’t apply if you are listing a qty greater than 1.

Yeah, I was getting the same, but they seem to have stopped, just when I want to list something of fairly high value. I think I may have activated an offer in the past, but didn't use it in the end. Maybe that's why.

Yes quantity is not included. I got caught out on that.

Not sure about relisting. Hope that's still valid otherwise I haven't been saving on fees!! Worth a double check.

That’s interesting as I’m sure I got charged in full when I used first used relist so have always used sell similar since then. I wonder if it’s different for different people or if they’ve changed it?

I used to get the £1 max selling fee every fortnight and did so for years and years but since I signed up to the new payout scheme I haven’t had that but now get the 80% off fees every 2-3 weeks without fail. It’s still a good offer as it does make a big difference to what I pay in fees, it’s just not as good as the £1 max. But if you sell lower value items £27 or under then you’re actually better off with the 80% off offer than the £1 max offer so it’s swings and roundabouts paulie2021-10-01 20:45:28

I was getting the old £1 offer twice a month until the new payment scheme started, I think since then I have had two 80% offers, the last one at the beginning of August. I have an item here I want to list too. It's annoying because I have probably used most of the offers in the last 9 months to have a clear out, maybe they have an algorithm that says I took the piss a bit? But it isn't worth the hassle of using Ebay without the offers, I consider it compensation for putting up with all the dickheads.

Sometimes i dont get one and other half saying she has and other way round, i wonder if the leave you out sometimes in the hope you'll just list some items anywa

Its all got a bit dfs aint it, only put listing on when its cheap, why dont they just make it cheaper all time for private sellers
