I was thinking this is amazing then I immediately thought it’s a little pointless as all my cabs are two player cabs.
Needs a bespoke 3 player cab making.

Nah, just a kick harness to a joystick plug. Then the poor little brother player 3 can use a naff 80's home joystick

Could you have two joystick cables hidden inside the cab that could be pulled out when needed to plug in a couple of controllers and have 4 player turtles etc then put it away so it goes back to standard config after....?

Yep. You could even loom the kick into the jamma connector on the cab next to it. Although player 3 & 4 would have serious crick-in-neck inducing lean probably, unless you pushed them right next to eachother.
