Fishkeeping and my new tank

So, i seem to have way too many hobbies, but i grew up with fish...well, i had fish tanks growing up...and over the last few months have started collecting fish and tanks, ticked a few bucket list fish off, and today got some pretty unique fish that are in a dedicated tank for themselves....

Lake Tanganyika shell dwelling fish...they breed and the mum hides the babies in shells, and the dad patrol the water above the shells.....something a bit different and just one stop short of having a marine tank due to water parameters

I have a Mississippi Map Turtle called ' Oggy! '

I brought him in 1994 when I was 21. One of those things I brought on a whim, knew nothing about them whatsoever.

32 years later, he's super damned cool, love that guy!

yeah, i have 5 tanks now and key is basically, get the water parameters correct, over filter and make sure you are doing a 30% water change each week

Do you need any spare pumps and fish ph health stuff and all that jazx. i bought a biorb and had nothing but a pain in the ass after i came back from holiday and tank had gone to shit. spending every othet week doing a 3rd tank water trying to solve the brown sludge when you cant use bottom feeders and constant fish dying , i gave up. lesson learnt dont buy a biorb, get s rectangle tank ! if anyond had a biorb tank still i have some of their expensivr crap somewhere. The tank is in my loft with me deciding what to do with it as was so exoensive. rant over, but if you want my free fush stuff ill photo what i have and just pay postage. the biorb slared pm me uf you have one and ill ser what i can sell you for half price.
