Since i've finally got off my arse and built a proper vector test rig,
this is now surplus to requirements.

Okay, i know that's not MY picture! The scope is the exact same model
as that as i bought it from Mark out of the batch the one in that pic
came from (if that made sense!). Mine doesn't have a module in the
middle, there is a gap there instead. It has a dual trace verticle
module on the left and a single input timebase thingy (technical term)
on the right.

IT HAS A PROPER Z INPUT ON THE REAR FOR DISPLAYING VECTOR GAMES (among
other things) as can be seen in the pic. You will need to put the Z
output from the game through a 4069 inverter and then it works a treat
(i have a spare 4069 if you want one with it). The picture won't be
quite as sharp and clear as Mark's example. He has used proper opamp
circuitry to get the Z input right, i just used a single 4069.

Anyway, i've never used it for actual scope duties since i have a
smaller one for that, i was using it as a vector display. It is fully
working although once in a blue moon the trace will dissapear. I
_THINK_ this is operator error rather than mechanical failure though
since this is quite a complicated scope and i just twiddle knobs until
it comes back :0) I'm pretty sure it has an auto cut-off or something
when the signal is not triggered.

Okay, to the point.

I paid £115 for it about 8 months ago? Maybe a bit more? Actually,
probably about the date of that photo, so nearly a year ago! I've
since added a manual in VERY good condition from ebay.

First offer of £80 takes it away.

However, as always, he're the clincher!! This is a BEAST. About as big
as scopes get and VERY heavy. You wouldn't want to have to carry it
all that far (ask Mr Pobster!) let alone post it so buyer will either
have to collect or arrange collection. I'm in Devon BTW.

There's an outside chance i could assist since i occasionally visit
Wokingham and Swansea, although there are no plans to do so for at
least two or more weeks since i have an important work project on. I
will also be visiting Redruth during the W/c 27th. Also for work so i
guess an outside possibility there.

LMK of any interest, i could do with it out of the way ASAP now...

Martin.

Sorry to bring this up again, but any interest if it were delivered to
the Pompey area?

I plan to be vising Portsmouth this Sunday...

Could entertain the idea of delivery on the way there or back too as
long as it really was on the way there or back and not "oh, it's only
half hour out of your way"!!!

Martin.
