It's easy enough, just remember to update the rest of your mame folder with the latest binary from mamedev.org, remembering of course to remove their mame.exe!

By the way, if you have a ghetto pc with an intel processor, add the intel compiler to the visual studio project and set the compiler options to optimise for you cpu. You will get a massive speed boost and increase in FPS.
