Hello recently bought a back to the features fruit machine Scorpio 5 with back to the future graphics unfortunately it comes up with error code 0098 hopper com and I have absolutely no idea what I am doing but keen to see if I can get it going is there anyone who is familiar with this one? And if there is anyone who could offer any advice on how I can get it working would be very much appreciated

Try the suggestions you can get from Google, some YouTube suggestions you could watch. Seems like clearing the NVR(non volatile ram) would be a good start. Getting to that option is likely different for each make of machine. If you get that sorted and it's still bad then it could be a pcb,hopper or wiring fault so not easy to diagnose without the ability of swapping out parts for known good ones. Good luck but maybe need to call a company that operates fruit machines as they may have an engineer who remembers how to do this.
