Hi everyone,

I’ve just joined. I’m in the process of building a cabinet to house a neo geo mvs and also a raspberry pi for emulating other systems but I really want to get myself a proper MVS cabinet in the future.

This is the what I’m aiming for

Welcome… plenty of advice here to help
The main thing is think it out fully.. there is a lot more to a cab than its appearance… parts. …. Such as monitor type , button & control layout . access doors etc.. so many ‘shame cabs’ are the home builds .. don’t fall in that trap…. Maybe wait and buy a sturdy one ready to fit out or in working order if you can?

Thanks. I think I have thought things through ok but we shall see once it’s built. I’m actually using the cabinet I linked in the pic. Build is quite budget at the moment so no fancy monitor or crt just an old pc monitor. I’m trying to make it so that via a three way switch and a vga switcher I can either turn on and use the MVS or the Pi so I can use both. This will mean that there is more buttons than an mvs uses but I wanted the flexibility
