Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well. Thank you for having me, Admin/ Moderators. I'm a newcomer to arcade but am very thankful to have some kind, supportive members of the community guiding me through it all to help me achieve my goals.

Happy gaming,

Welcome to the forum, what you on the lookout for?

Kind thanks @Hurray Banana , I've made a help post just now. It explains my aims and aspirations and where I am at in my journey.

Other than what I mentioned in my help post, I am currently putting together an MVS/ CMVS/ OMVS and looking to get an Atomiswave. These are my immediate interests. Then if I see fit, I am also interested in Naomi 2 with Net Dimm CPS2 Alpha/ Zero 2 and Night Warrior's Revenge and potentially a Taito F3.

Best

Welcome fallinlight and to the hobby.you may have to buy trousers with slightly bigger pockets in this game!lol.

Thanks, @Shoryu-stu! I'm used to it as I've been collecting video games for about 20 years now. I rarely buy anything anymore, though. I only want 2 -3 pieces of arcade gear, really. I use my MiSTer for most things now. But I will see how I go. The learning alone has been enriching for me. But getting hands on with a pew pieces of arcade gear would be nice to bolster this, too.

Yeah its nice getting your hands dirty.i love it.i also love the smell of a opened arcade cab(the wife thinks its wierd)sold a lot of my stuff off years ago and am slowly (and quietly )starting to build it up again.money the main issue with how things are these days, but, there are still bargains to be had, just takes some time.the wife says "why does your hobby have to be so expensive?".this reflects the sign of the times.my first cab was a generic cab with caddilacs & dinosaurs in it and got it for £20!!no chance thats happening nowadays.also space is sometimes an issue.godd luck with the venture & keep us posted.(y)
