Bit of a story on this one but I have a Zelda: Links Awakening DX cartridge with some significant history and personal sentiment to me.
It has two save files on it, one of mine and the other is from a girl I was with for many years and who we sadly lost a couple of years ago. We both used to play the game together as teenagers and to see her name come up whenever I fire it up has always been extremely important to me, and even more so now.
The cartridge is over 30 years old now and i'm becoming increasingly worried that the battery will give up on me and something special will be lost forever.
If anyone on here has the skills or knowhow to swap the battery out without losing the save file and perhaps even save the save file to an external SD card or something so that I can swap the battery and reload the save back onto the cart, i'd be eternally grateful.
Happy to pay for the service. And pay whatever it takes too.
