I’m fairly certain that Racing Beat shares the same pinout as Double Axle and Continental Circus.
Did many tries using either the pins handle + and handle - on the jamma board and the connectors Z and D, which are not common on the other boards. Tried with an encoder and a 5k pot. No change.
Does anyone has informations or pictures of same or other PCBs steering connections please?

Have an update: connecting +5v to handle + pin 26 I have 0000 in test screen. Connecting 5v to opposite handle - I read ffff. So it's a potentiometer kind of issue. Tried 5k and nothing happens. 22k changes from 0000 to 0001. Putting 5v in the middle and handle + and handle - on the sides.any idea?

I have no idea about racing beat controls but Chase HQ and Continental Circus have the same Steering Mech and they don't use pots, there Opto with encoder wheel
So if it's same or similar hardware

I'd first check the type of controller wheel on Racing Beat

hello, unfortunately didn't find any info about racing beat, just gameplays. Assuming it's the same as chase hq could be opto. I did a test with an old mouse with the gum ball but in the test screen nothing happened: the wave generated was of about 2v. Can it be that it's too low since connecting 5 volts to handle + and - I have 0000 and ffff? In this case is there a circuit I can buy to have the correct wave? Thanks
