I recently was duped into downloading a Flash 'update' that was slimy bastard ad software that I really didn't want.

I got rid of most of it, but I still keep getting pop ups.

i have tried Malwarebytes Anti malware and Spybot Search & Destroy, but they don't seem to have worked.

Nod 32 doesn't detect it either.

These companies should be hanged, drawn and quartered for this sh*t

I use a combination of adaware and malwarebytes.
Not had a problem to date but I do avoid clicking on popups.
The issue is that most anti malaware apps are real-time apps and not suitable for post event cleansing.

Failing that pc world will always reformat your hardrive for you ??

do you have a system restore point prior to the adware install vic.

if you do try restoring to this point search in the run box on the start menu for system restore and get it to list all the previous restore points

As before combo fix and I would use hijackthis as well. The two you used and this two have rarely failed me.
