The colors on top left cornes were o bit disaligned, so I said to myself why not try to adjust rings, how hard could it be... So I began.
Using a gentle presure to get them to move apart didn't work since the white paint holds them tight together so I applied maybe a little more force then needed and the old backed plastic broke apart, the rings moved freely and no may to tighten them back.
Took the whole asembly out and put another one that I salvaged out of an samsung CRT (I think). This one is an Samsung 5130B22-TC
Now there is no way I can align the red an blue guns. I can get a decent aligment on the bottom half, but the top half is way off. Same with green in relation to red and blue. I'll leave the purity for later.
Any tips on what steps must be taken in order to align the guns?
I use an checkered pattern without the green signal.
