Hi all,
I found this forum through Gemini. I bought myself an original Star Wars upright cabinet just over 20 years ago. It was used and enjoyed for several years and then broke down and was relegated to the cupboard under the stairs, where it stayed for around 10 years. The kids have all grown up and moved out, and it was gathering dust, so, I pulled it out and over the last year have been getting it repaired. It is now back up and working, albeit with a few minor issues. But I've come to the conclusion that I really don't know enough about these things and if it breaks down again, I can't justify the time and cost of repairs, so I have decided to sell it.
I've got a couple of Raspberry Pi's and some spare PCs, and I think I might get my retro fix from emulation from now on. I am a PC Tech, so when they break down, I know where I am with them! So, it's time to sell my loved Star Wars machine, but I have no idea where is the best place to go. I'm not in any rush, and it is a little tired, it needs someone who knows what they are doing - minor things like controller callibration - however, it does work. So I wanted to ask where everybody could suggest I try to sell it? I don't want to just rely on Ebay, or FB marketplace. Are there specialist auction houses or buy/sell sites that deal in arcade machines?
Thanks everyone.
