knot in new wooden workshop

Strange question to ask, but does anyone know if this size "knot" in the side of my new workshop due to be assembled is potentially going to cause a problem with water leaking in etc?

Seller states not (excuse the pun) but the wood extremely thin at that area. It's 7cm in length and almost as deep as the panel (12mm)!

Would it be worth filling it in with something?

The problem will be down the line when the dead knot shrinks faster than the 'not as dead' wood around it, ultimately falling out (eventually) but before then, yes it is likely to get tiny gaps forming around the edges which could in theory leak.

A lot of how much leaks will depend on where this is on your workshop, eaves, guttering, etc.
