I mentioned this in another thread, but thought it would be worth highlighting since it will be available soon and the first review is out:

It's cheaper than the Mega SD, has more features and will be more readily available.

Anyone know the best place to buy these things in the UK?

Looks great.

I've got the Turbo Everdrive for PC Engine and am playing around with SD2SP2/Swiss for GameCube at the moment for fun. Also flash cart for DS

Apart from that I'm still using original carts/CD for my consoles/arcade pcbs

Yeah, I've got the Mega Everdrive X7 which is great, but will be looking to upgrade when this is released.

I'm all for original hardware and games, but I'm super nervous about CD based systems and discs giving up the ghost over time. So devices like this, the SSDS3 and IDE replacements are a god send and will be increasingly necessary IMO.

I'm pretty sure my Mega CD drive needs a belt replacement :(Vinegar Joe2020-06-20 21:22:05

Looking forward to this...Terraonion make some excellent looking devices but I’ve seen some less than stellar reviews of them as a company. I’ll go with Krikzz on this one.

I tend to use Retro Towers for my everdrive purchases: Retrotowerskuato_lives2020-07-03 16:57:14

Krikzz's solution is most welcomed! I will go with it as well
I have the SSDS3 device from TO and indeed their support and attitude is bad. One only has to look in their forums - basically once they sell a device they don't care. We've been waiting for more than one year for a simple firmware update to replace the god awful menu font but nothing ever gets released...
