late delivery

what is the latest at night you have had a delivery?
let me paint a picture.

the misses gets up at 4am so early nights are quite normal.

so,i woke up.the dog was in the hallway looking at the front door.there was a knock on the door so i climb out of bed and answer.the guy said sorry ive had hell of a time getting here from yorkshire.

i sign and take the parcel.

i think while im up ill have a ciggy only to see the time on my laptop saying 01.10 am

the next day i look at the paperwork i signed with one eye still close to read urgent medical delivery 24 hours service etc.the misses then tells me that should of got here two days ago LOL

iirc Martin has done me proud delivering 7 cabs close to midnight!

thats fine if you know its coming,it was some crap the misses ordered.that will no doubt be stored in my man cave room

Wow, that's what I call late. Kinda feel sorry for the delivery guy - he obviously had a nightmare of a day.

from the delivery note i take it he's a one man band.
someone said complain (was an online order) but my thinking was the poor guy has had a day from hell with problem after problem.if i had my head on i would of had him in for a cuppa and a power nap on the sofa.10/10 for effort though
