You're welcome bud, I only discovered the "My life in gaming" channel yesterday, some great content on there & they just uploaded this 2 hour MiSTer-thon vid about an hour ago.

I watched their "M2: Complete Works" vid last night, that's worth a watch too.

I've not gone down the MiSTer rabbit hole myself yet, but it's definitely on my to-do list.

You won’t regret it, it’s ace!

I’m so happy with it I’m considering flogging my ArcadeSD, something I would never have contemplated a few months ago.

I’ve just got a Pi hat for MT-32 and am enjoying some DOS midi magic. I can’t believe how good some of those old games sound versus the Soundblaster sound I experienced at the time.

So is that emulating a Roland MT-32 then & you need a raspberry Pi too?

Sounds awesome, so can the MiSTer play all the old DOS games then like the original prince of persia, monkey island, another world etc? (I need to watch that primer guide later!)

I'm in the process of building a groovymame pc for my video wizard jamma cab using Chunksin's "Read Only Windows 7" build but would love to get a MiSTer in there in the future.

Yeah, that’s right. A Pi and the hat and you’re good to go.

I’ve used the MT-32 on the X68000 (what a system!) and DOS but I think there are programmes on ST and Amiga that use it too.

There is a ready made HD image that can be used on the 486 core that has the top 300 DOS games and all the usual suspects are there including all the Lucasart games. Monkey Island sounds astonishingly good.

Great channel MLiG. Been wanting to get a MiSTer set up for a few years now but wasn’t a fan of the “stack” set ups with wires hanging out all over the place. MiSTer Multisystem looks great but now I’m ready to jump in the increased popularity and hardware supply issues (DE-10 Nano) have forced prices up
