Hi Everyone,
I'm completely new to this but have had a passion for arcade gaming since I was 7 years old and allowed to pop an old 10p coin into Phoenix. I grew up in a Suffolk seaside town that had 4 fully stocked arcades, and one that seemed to have all the new games as they came out. They have either closed down or become slot houses and penny shoves now.
Recently I was given a Jamma pedestal cabinet with a J-PAC and PC installed into it. The wood work has been messed about with but it appears everything is ok. I'm going to set about tidying it up and the wife has suggested that I look at it as a hobby (she appears to understand my gaming history). Therefore I might be in the market for Mr. Do, Star Force, Gradius, etc boards/machines in the future.
Anyway hello everyone and I look forward to discussing these history making games and machines with you.
Cheers
Jez.
