Hi,

Pinball related I know but are these guys up to the mark? 'As seen on TV' doesn't exactly expire confidence and I'm not even going to speculate on the prices *but* are their machines as described, properly serviced, delivered on time by decent couriers, etc? I also assume they are in no way affiliated to JT.

Cheers

Karl.

If you were a child of the 80s, which arcade game were you most addicted
to?

For me it was Dragon's Lair. Big problem. Only thing I've ever been
genuinely addicted to. All my pocket money went on it. I could do all
the rooms, but never got to the Dragon though!

Firefox then came pretty close.

Well, we're in England so how about the weather?

Anyone affected, arcade or otherwise, by the recent excuse for non-washing
of the car?

Not currently subscribed toUKpinball and I know lots of people on here
have/had pins. People on here also know me so hopefully would make helpful
comments... (sincere thanks to those that did) :)

I've got water-damaged Taito "Space Gun" and "Risk" quiz machine cabinets in my garage (it flooded with 3-4 inches of water). Both were waiting for repairs, I think they will probably need parting out (the water was quite smelly). I haven't had a good look at the Virtua Racing twin sit-down next to them yet, but I think its wheels kept it just high enough to have got away with it. In my office I've got several old Electrocoin JAMMA cabinets that got wet from a leaky roof, but they were probably heading for the bonfire once stripped for parts anyway.

I have a Candy Cab that is still sat under a roof hole that drips whenever it rains. It still looks fine, you have to love plastic cabinets :) Hopefully I'll finally be able to clear space and get it somewhere drier in the next few days.

All in all, not too bad. I can't really complain, the first flood in the end of June was good fun (I'm a retained firefighter, we had a hectic week).

Cheerio,
Ross

Karl,

Pinball Heaven is in no way associated with JT :)

Good Guy (Phil Palmer) knows alot about pins, been going years, the
place is not far from my office. Very good service (fast shipping on
mail order)

His pins are VERY expensive, but then they are restored to pretty much
10/10 condition on the ones I have seen that people have had from him

That do you? :)

Hi Luke,

Pinball UK is different from Pinball Heaven.

They are completely different guys and to my knowledge, Phil Palmer has nothing to do with Pinball UK.

Also, I'm pretty sure JT has nothing to do with them either.
