[ukvac] OT: FS Data East Star Wars Pinball
I know it's a pinball but some members of this list (myself included
have
pins as well as vids....
Due to the purchase of a new car it's time to say a tearful farewell to my
Star Wars, so I'll offer it here before going to ebay. Completey stripped
and shopped after I bought it and sparkling clean, new set of rubbers fitted
and new balls. Has plastic Darth Vader on top and no holes in front (no bar
fitted across coin box). Original manual, flyers and spare playfield.
Brand new flipper coils &n parts and other spares (replacement bulbs etc -
about £150 of new spares) should you wish to rebuild the flippers at any
time, Novus polish etc.
Overall condition of the machine I would rate as VG+ - I've put alot of
time into it (removing every plastic and cleaning it is a job I wouldn't
want to do too often!). Legs have been fitted with shiny new feet and are
unmarked. Playfield VG with minor wear around force and jabba holes. Ramps
and plastics all perfect except 1 x wing yellow square which has a chip out
of one corner and the plastic behind Jabba (the one with Bib Fortuna on it)
which is cracked slightly, neither affect play. Cabinet artwork is good
with a some general wear, backglass is VG.
Two minor things need looking at to make it 100% - the R2D2 trigger for the
outside lane feature needs replacing, it works when I press it manually but
the ball doesn't set it off. The DM display has had at some time a rather
naff repair on one of the connectors to the control board and the wire
connecting it needs re-soldering. This results in the loss of 2 dots on the
bottom line of the display, if I wiggle the wire I can get these dots back.
I haven't fixed it because it's not that noticeable. Both of these should
be easy enough to fix but I list them here to let the buyer know the full
state of the machine, apart from these 2 the machine is a lovely example.
Open to offers, buyer must collect (from Newbury near Reading) and I can
supply photos (will probably put them on the web tonight). If you want to
check me out as a seller my ebay id is nor-t.
Thanks
Norley
