[ukvac] OT: MAME and Golden Tee

Oh knowledgable ones,

Quick Q - The Golden Tee series of games are JAMMA cabs essentially -
if I MAMEd a GT cab, can MAME use the existing buttons and trackball
natively?

Don't know much about MAME, so this could be a steep learning curve,
but basically my MD wants me to MAME a GT 2004 cab in order to run
MAME to play all the GT games (we have original ROMS for each game
he wants to run) - before I even look into how well golf games run under
MAME, I need to know whether the existing trackball and buttons will
work?
