[ukvac] OT: Quiz Machine
Hi,
I have a Cluedo Quiz machine. I ditched my first one with a dead
touchscreen and recently bought another.
The touchscreen has just stopped working on this too!
It coins up okay and boots fine. All wires/connectors are seated
correctly. The touchscreen & interface unit is working okay too as I
have tested it by running the wire to Monopoly.
Just posting on the off-chance that someone could give me any ideas
if this is a common problem? I am wondering whether it could be
caused by the memory battery, as this a bit past its sell-by date
(this caused loads of problems with Monopoly).
Any ideas at all greatly appreciated. My girlfriend really likes this
game, but if poor reliability is a common feature, I can't afford to
keep replacing it!
