Hi everyone,

I've found that playing Outrun MP3s in my car has helped me deal with a motorway phobia following a recent accident. Playing Outrun tracks seems to calm my nerves and help me drive more confidently.

It took a while to track some sources down. I thought about recording my own machine, then went trying to find the original Sega Band albums on CD. These turned out to be difficult to find and very expensive. In the end I converted some tracks I found on Youtube and grabbed a bunch of old Amiga demo tracks as well. It's surprising how listenable some of these Chip Tunes still turn out to be!

While we're in nerd territory C64 stuff is pretty amusing:

Wizball, Parallax, One Man and His droid, Yie Air Kung Fu JMJ cover number. Apidya on the Amiga and if you like 'real' bands Crystal Castles have an amusing name and a penchant for old computer samples in many tracks.

Driving Video Game Music! Has to be Jaguar XJ220 Moody Breeze on the Amiga. Never even played it myself, but was pointed on to this music and it's a sturdy favourite in my playlist.

Simply Awesome!

I was always partial to a bit of Lotus Turbo Challenge 2, great intro music (if none in the game!).

Used to cart my amiga and a tv up to a mates house for some 4 player link up play. Multiplayer is a damn sight easier now that's for sure
