PC engine clean rom set now SORTED

Hi, I am getting myself a bit confused trying to edit a romset I have on a 1tb launchbox set up with rom folders for both PC engine supergrfx nec turbografx.

Unfortunately the rom sets in both shares both end at the letter M !!

I thought I would quickly be able to paste M-Z in but cannot seem to find a nice easy rom set to use

With Sega(804 roms) and SNES (784 roms) roms sets I have just taken all the US ones and a clean setand just proper latest "normal" versions, no duplicates or non working roms.

Although I have on DVD !, a full set of PC engine roms this set ...

PCE.TurboGrafx-16.Complete.Goodset[1.09a]

I cant work out how to filter and get just a rom per game of the proper titles not all the PD crap, hacks and mulitpe versions.

Just wondered if anyone had already put together a decent set of PC engine roms, to save me lots of manual hassle. I assume I can paste them into both folders and then I will just rescan.

Although PCE.TurboGrafx-16.Complete.Goodset[1.09a] is a complete set it has 1500+ rom files in it as sh*t loads of duplicates.

If anyone could PM, as I know we cannot share roms on posts, I would appreciate it.

I cant easily just filter on (us) etc as its just too overloaded with different versions.

If no one has this I will start the painful process of removing all the hacks, trainers and PD versions via the rom deleter then picking either the US or Jap release.

IS Jap release best ? With Snes and Sega I just pulled out US versions.

just get the smoke monster packs from The Internet Archive. They are all spilt into folders and have some interesting things in them too

For others who may have an interest I grabbed this baby...

Just shoving the turbografx and the pc engine roms in one folder , they seem to use same emulator from retroarch, and will shove the supergfx games in another folder and figure the emulator out later Seem rude not too when have all the stuff now !

These all launch from Launchbox.

For info I found on DC emulation and may just be me was awful on a laptop stuttery. But as soon as I powered the USB portable drive via a hub, worked really well !

I think a little nuc with a 1tb launchbox may well be replacing my pi set !

I wanted to do a multi system set up with launchbox, I was looking at using mednafen as it does many systems but couldn't find a set of PCE CD Roms that were bin & cue only.

Is there a better option?

same for megacd too

but everything these days is on achive.org too
