[ukvac] Plonka - [was Tech: HN462532G]
Well, call this "clutter", or "noise", or whatever you will, but it's on
topic and i thought this might just amuse a few people!
I don't think i'm going to need any of those chips (thanks anyway), but that
is all now down to if i get any that won't erase for a secind time round
(doing so now).
Just burnt a complete set of CK roms WITHOUT first checking the number of
chips that i had. Got right through to rom no. 11 and thought "'ang on, i
ain't got enough" DOH!!
Now if i'd scrutinised and played "what if" with the color proms in mame
before i started this evening (instead of after) i would have realised that
i did indeed have a bootleg board which doesn't use the 12th rom BEFORE i
burnt a complete set - PLONKA!!
Oh well, damn glad i invested in an eraser now - it's getting more use that
i thought it would ;o)
