Hello, any ideas what to do next? I tried to file away some of the ceramic but still no trace of some metal to solder a new pin on.

Some X-rays of the custom sega CPU would be great to see where the pin 1 is going....

Almost looks like a dummy unused pin. Is there no sign of metal at all? I would probably dremmel it carefully until I hit metal. Lol

If you stay close enough to that edge you almost certainly won't hit anything important apart from the trace you are looking for. Keep dremeling they are usually almost a mm or more deep.

Those CPUs don't have that metal traces wide enough inside. Must use wires or something. I gave up. Decrypted roms and standard CPU.
