The original Moon Patrol cabinet is one of my absolute favorites.. that stencil, the comic-book style buggy art from the marquee.. It's 1980s retro-futurism comic vibe with a little throwback Buck Roger's look.
I chatted a bit with Xingothx (a guy you've probably heard of on FB etc, also has stuff at Tenzen arcade) and though it would be fun to request a Candy Cab topper for Moon Patrol that brought the artwork alive in the Candy Cab over-the-top style. I've got the Metal Slug 2 one sitting along side the cabinet now, ready for quick swaps depending on my mood.
Delightfully Garish, I hope you agree... works nicely with green and pink sanwa controls to help push that color saturation envelope heh
