Been looking for a decent one to replace the third party one I got with a SNES. Someone shared this which is really useful as Triads are supposed to be really decent.
It has helped to easily identify what I wanted. Postage is stupid on uk sites so may have to order some other supplies while I am at it.

Posted here as thought might be useful for others.

Have you checked on availability from Digikey. I'd then order enough different needed power supply models to get free shipping, which is £33

For example NES one here:

Well this was an interesting video so ordered a ps2 slim power supply to have a tinker with, as have a number of older consoles.
Apparently the Megadrive takes the original higher voltage and steps it down to 5v so the 8.5 v will be fine. I was not aware of this and generally quite easy to pick up......

most consoles/computers ive seen that use a 9v DC wall wart use a 7805 voltage regulator to step down to 5v. C64 owners talk about them with fear as allegedly when they fail they can send the unregulated 9v into those precious custom ICs. I removed the one on a megadrive and run it off 5v from a jamma PSU (it tends to live in a cab so I can play the MD shmups in style).

I'd have to double-check but seem to remember UK snes use 9v AC. Japanese ones use DC.

Sorry for the likely daft question, but are the N64 power supplies swappable, i.e. you could plug a UK PSU into the bay of a Japanese console?
